Expanded Pain Management
& Diagnostic Injections Course: 
Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at American Family Dentistry Training Center

Cost is $150.00 per attendee.  This course is worth four (4) hours of continuing education.

This course is a Lecture and Hands-On Injection Course for physicians and dentists.  Give yourself the edge in predictable pain control and give your patients the benefit of precision diagnostic injections to correctly diagnose and successfully manage their pain.

Objectives and Course Content:
 Review of relevant head and neck anatomy for injections
 Review of injectable medications and local anesthetics
 Brief review of neuro-anatomy and pain control
 Demonstration of injections and participation in injections

Injections to be covered include:
 V3 Greater Mandibular blocks by 5 methods (intraorally and extraorally)
 V2 blocks (ASA, MSA, PSA, greater palatine, nasopalatine)
 Temporalis tendon, Masseteric tendon
 Greater and Lesser Occipital nerve blocks
 Intravenous administration of medication and blood draw
